To replace a standard bulb with an LED, you'll need to remove the old bulb and insert a new one. The bay15D base is identical to the base of an incandescent lamp. The bay15D lighting system is fitted with an 18 ohm load resistor. If the car is fitted with an on-board computer, the indication given may be insufficient.
