Universal installation kit for luminaires of general purpose lightingIdeally suited for converting general purpose lighting luminaires into self-contained emergency luminairesType of protection: IP 20 Protection class: I Electronic module housing: metal, galvanised. Charging indicator lamp (LED): standard. NiCd high-temperature rechargeable battery and instructions for retrofitting this module into existing luminaires are included.The modules conform to VDE0108 and EN60598, part 2-22.After conversion the luminaire can be operated in maintained or non-maintained power mode.This module can be used together with the low loss ballast (4-pin lamp holder, external starter required) or the EB of the luminaire.The ballast in the luminaire controls operation of the lamp(s) when mains power is applied. Should the mains power supply fail, one lamp is automatically powered by the battery via the emergency conversion kit.
